Do you need help to manage your emotions?
Sometimes a little bit of help is all you need to get back on track.
We can help you.
What We Do
Sometimes, things can start to get on top of you, and you may feel like you're struggling to cope. The important thing to remember is that you are not alone. The ME project can help you overcome these challenges by providing you with the right skills and tools you need to help you learn to cope.
Children & Young People's Mentors
Our service is developed for young people aged 12-19, however we will support younger children if our assessment indicates that we can achieve successes.
We offer the following services to young people :
- 1:1 Mentoring services in the community or home
- Video Mentoring Service with trained mentors
- Project work & Groups (available periodically please ask for info)
Each of these services includes a free assessment to ensure that we choose the right path for the young person.
Each young person’s wellbeing is at the centre of what we do, so we will complete assessments with them throughout to ensure that they are fully in control of their own progress and recovery.
We support adults over the age of 19 who are experiencing concerns with their emotional well-being. We appreciate that finding the right support can be difficult, so we offer a range of options for adults:
- 1:1 support in office or the community with a matched team member
- Counselling for individual, couples or the family
- Video mentoring in the comfort of your safe space
Our team are invested in working in ways to suit your lifestyle and needs. We carry out a thorough assessment with you so that you can be totally in charge of the support we design for you.

EVERY YEAR, 1 in 10 YOUNG PEOPLE EXPERIENCE A MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEM. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Have you ever heard someone say ”get over it”, ”pull yourself together” or ”keep smiling” when the last thing you want to do is smile?!
Well we know it’s far from easy to pull yourself out of patterns and behaviours that can influence your mood and emotional wellbeing. And we can help.
Some of the team have personal experience, some have studied and some have spent a lot of time with others who have poor mental health. Our mix of experiences means that The ME Project team have diverse knowledge about how to help you to move on through to feeling on top of your emotional state.
When you first meet a member of the team, we will guide you through an assessment, to find out who, and which service, is the best match for you.
So contact us and book your free assessment.
