Art Therapy Services

Art Therapy is a distinct discipline that incorporates creative methods of expression through visual art media. It is a technique routed in the idea that creative expression can foster healing and mental wellbeing.

Cura-Care Art Therapy services are managed by Nickie J, trainee art therapist. Nickie has a passion for empowering others to have a voice, that would not be heard through other therapeutic approaches.

The range of conditions Nickie can support are:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • PTSD
  • Disabilities (including non-verbal clients)
  • and many more…..

Cura-Care’s Art Therapy service, takes place within office 7 at Cura-Care, so that Nickie and her clients can take advantage of the spacious room and art tables. The room space is private and safe with ample parking and good disability access.

Nickie is currently taking referrals for clients, but she does have a small waiting list for her Saturday appointments.
